Posting of Respective Conversion Factors for Heating and cooling in Accordance with the Rational Energy Use Act in Buildings by Thermal Energy Supply Operations (“the Rational Energy Use Act”)
Respective conversion factors for heating and cooling in accordance with the A Rational Energy Use Act are listed below for your reference.
This following content is calculated based on the Guidelines on Respective Conversion Factors for Heating and cooling in DHC Operations (established June 30, 2017) (“the Guidelines”) as stipulated by the Japan Heat Supply Business Association (JHSBA).
However, please be aware that the Guidelines do not apply to the conversion factors for heating and cooling used in the business results for the 2018 fiscal year (FY2018) forward, due to the installation of cogeneration equipment.
Currently figures for heat volume sold, heat sources and fuel consumption listed in The DHC Handbook, published by the JHSBA (in Japanese), are used to calculate primary energy conversion factors. These figures can be used to judge the conformity of energy-saving measures.
